Ingredients
- 1 Sugardale Ham Steaks
- 8 slices grainy bread
- 8 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
- ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup arugula
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Heat a grill to medium to medium-high heat. While the grill heats, in a bowl combine olive oil, minced garlic, and rosemary.
- Place the ham steak on the grill and brush on rosemary oil mixture. Grill for 4 minutes. Flip and brush the other side with the rosemary oil mixture. Grill for 4 minutes.
- Place bread slices on a tray. On 4 of the slices, place 2 slices of mozzarella. Place into the oven for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.
- When ham steak is done, cut into 4 pieces. Place onto the melted cheese. On the bare slices of bread, divide the Dijon mustard evenly across the 4 slices. Spread.
- Top arugula on ham and place tops of bread on.
- Serve.
