Ingredients
- 1 Sugardale Prestige Bone-In Ham Steak, cubed
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. ketchup
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. minced garlic
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ½ medium red onion, cubed
- ½ yellow bell pepper, cubed
- ½ green bell pepper, cubed
- ½ fresh pineapple, cubed
Directions
- In a small saucepan whisk together the pineapple juice, brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, garlic and onion powder. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 7-10 minutes.
- Assemble the skewers by layering the cubed ham steak, onion, peppers and pineapple evenly on 4 skewers. Using a pastry brush, coat each skewer with the sauce.
- Heat your grill to medium-high heat and sear the skewers on each side for about 5 minutes until heated through and peppers and onion begin to soften.
- Remove from grill and serve immediately.
