- 1.5 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 Tbsp. dried minced onion
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 6 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 cup. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Sugardale Hot Dogs or Beef Franks and Buns
- Shredded cheddar cheese & diced onion (optional)
- In a large skillet, brown beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain off any excess grease.
- In a saucepan, combine browned beef, with all other ingredients and mix well. Simmer over medium-low to medium heat for 20-25 minutes until thickened.
- Top each Sugardale hot dog with chili sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced onion.
