- 1lb Sugardale Thick Cut Bacon or Extra Thick Bacon
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- While oven preheats, mix together maple syrup and cayenne pepper. Line a pan with foil and place a wire cooling rack on top. Spray the rack with cooking spray.
- Place the bacon on top of the cooling rack. Spacing them far enough part so they are not overlapping or touching.
- Brush maple syrup mixture onto bacon. Place bacon in oven for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, take bacon out and turn it over. Brush remaining mixture onto the bacon.
- Bake for another 15 minutes or until bacon looks crispy.
- Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes.
- Serve.
